Craig Philip Bainton is an award winning designer, with many years of freelance design experience, a BA Honours Degree in Transport & Product Design from the world renowned Coventry University School of Art & Design as well as experience and competence across many fields of the design industry.
From as far back as I can remember I have been drawing. Doodling. Creating. From a young age I was interested in art & design and as my Fine Art A-Level progressed and I began analysing the repetitive and dynamic forms of the Italian Futurist movement I realised I wanted to design the future.
My passion for Industrial Design flourished whilst studying a 4 year Degree at Coventry University, where I discovered I was interested in designing products and services by looking at functionality, ease of use and by problem solving.
I Graduated from Coventry University School of Art & Design in 2009, attaining several accolades I am very proud of;
Product Design of The Year Award 2009
Major Project featured in international publication Design Week Magazine
Wheelchair concept featured at the New Designers Exhibition in London
My design career has been steadily maturing since graduation, I am now working as a freelance designer working across several fields;
Part of this includes co-founding the Qr3 Design Consultancy in 2009, whose clients have included Frazer-Nash, one of the UK’s biggest providers of systems and engineering technology.
